Eurocross

The annual Huntsville Track Club Eurocross 5k and 8k races were Saturday on the UAH Campus. This is a unique race that includes hurdling hay bales, multiple creek crossings, a short, steep hill, and a short section of trail through trees. It's a combination of steeplechase and cross country. The event is also spectator friendly as spectators are able to see almost all of the course.

The 5k
The overall winner was Daniel Pierce of Scottsboro with a time of 19:31. The masters winner was Donald Bowman of Madison in 19:43. The female winner was Olivia Thompson of Scottsboro in 23:46. The female masters winner was Amy Lambrecht of Huntsville in 27:29. Overall results and age group results are at the HTC website.
