My wife Kristy is planning to run the Jan. 24th Nashville Zoo 5k. I probably will run the February 15th(?) 2 & 4 mile Winter Road Races at Grissom High. My main focus is gearing up for what I am planning to annually deem as my "Daytona" race in NASCAR terms as the big opening race......the Huff N Puff By the Bluff 15k March 14th.

My next race is probably the 5K in Scottsboro on 2-7-09. I have some big goals this year including several local and not so local 5K, 10K Duathlons and Triathlons. My 2 biggest races I want to complete this year are the Coosa River Challenge and the Rocket City Marathon.

Zigzag, I'm going to guess you're Mark York. If so, thanks for the encouragement at mile 7 before the Whitesburg Tunnel) @ the Rocket City Marathon. If you are doing all those dual & triathalon's I do not believe my running schedule would be too interesting to you. Good luck on your goals!!

Yes Mark it is me. There are several races I want to do this year but I need to work on speed more than anything. Let's chat and see if I can tag along sometime for a run in Athens.....or anyone else looking for a running partner.
