Brush Creek results

The Brush Creek Pumpkin Run is a 6-miler (not a 10K) that takes place in rural Lauderdale County (Killen) each October. It's a wee bit challenging with a couple of long, slow hills.
The overall winner in this year's race (Saturday, Oct. 25) was Athens' own Andy Davidson, 18, who finished in 35:56.
In fact, Limestone County made quite a showing with the following finishers:

Andy Davidson, 18, Athens, 35:56, First Overall
Lucas Bullington, 17, Athens, 49:37
Barry Pugh, 40, Elkmont, 45:29, First in Age Group
Mark Swanner, 40, Athens, 46:40, Second in Age Group
Glen King, 47, Athens, 43:46, First in Age Group
Tom Davidson, 53, Athens, 47:54, Second in Age Group

Nike Women's winner goes home empty-handed

Arien O'Connell, a teacher of fifth-graders in New York City, finished Sunday's Nike Women's Marathon in San Francisco in 2:55:11.
However, the woman officially named as winner ran a 3:06.
What's up with that?
Was Arien disqualified for using an iPod?
Nope!
It's a crazy conundrum!
